The Meaning Behind Rally Higher

Coming up with the name for this company started with endless brainstorming. Pages and pages of notes in my notebook, sticky notes full of names that just didn’t feel right. But I stopped in my tracks when I came across Nehemiah 4:20.

That verse grabbed me. It felt strong and comforting at the same time. It reminded me that even when we feel alone, we are not alone. We have community. We have God. And when we come together, we are stronger than we know. This verse felt like God reminding me that we don’t have to face life alone, especially when things get tough.

At that moment, I realized exactly what we’re trying to build. This brand isn’t just about the product. It’s about rallying together, rallying back from lows, and rallying with God. That’s when the name finally started to make sense.

Rally

The definition of rally is:

If you have or love someone with type 1 diabetes, you know exactly what that looks like. Someone dropping everything to help. A teammate sprinting to find sugar on the sidelines. A loved one waking up at two in the morning because an alarm went off. A parent or friend stepping in without being asked. A whole community making sure that no one feels alone.

Rallying is also recovering. It’s getting back up when you’re knocked down. It’s finding strength within yourself to keep going. It’s a word that carries both action and heart. 

And in Scripture, rallying is even deeper. It is people coming together with God joining the effort. It’s the reminder that God always meets us in the moment and fights for and with us.

Higher

Higher, of course, has a very real meaning. It means bringing blood sugar back to a safe place. 

But Higher also felt symbolic in a way I couldn’t ignore. Higher is rising above fear. Rising above outdated tools. Rising out of isolation. Rising toward purpose, strength, community, and God. It feels like hope. Like choosing to keep going even when things get hard. Not in a striving way, but in a supported way.

Rally Higher

It finally felt right when I put the two words together. The meaning behind Rally Higher is both practical and spiritual. It means coming together and rising. It means stepping in for each other and trusting that God will meet us where we are. Together, it symbolizes responding with urgency and moving forward with strength.

It truly holds the story of what we are trying to build. A community that believes no one should face these moments alone. A community that knows we are stronger together. And a product that helps people recover from lows quickly and simply. 

A name that found us

I don’t feel like I created the name Rally Higher. It feels like it was placed in front of me. A gentle nudge from God. A reminder that this mission started long before I saw it. A reminder that He has been here the whole time and will continue to stay by our sides.

This brand is something I feel deeply called to build. It began with my family’s story, and now it continues with all of ours. Thank you for being a part of a story bigger than any one of us. Together, we’ll keep rising, keep rallying, and keep moving forward. We’ll keep Rallying Higher with open hands and open hearts.
