2025: A Year of Trust, Growth, and Rallying Higher

As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve found myself slowing down and really reflecting on this year. 

For the past two years, I’ve been chasing the idea of making life with diabetes easier. But it wasn’t until June of this year that Rally Higher was truly born. Before that, I was focused on building a product (one that changed more times than I can count) without first anchoring everything in a clear mission. Once I stopped chasing the “perfect solution” and instead committed to the why, everything shifted. Rally Higher became less about getting something to market and more about building a brand, a community, and a purpose around a very real need.

Looking back on the past seven months, I can say without hesitation that this season has

been incredibly special. Rally Higher began with one simple mission: to make life with diabetes easier. Every decision since has flowed from that. And along the way, I realized that the only way this company could truly exist was if I stopped trying to carry all the weight myself. 

This year required me to hand Rally Higher over to God completely. To trust His timing, His direction, and the parts of the journey I couldn’t yet see. And once I did that, everything changed. That trust has brought unexpected turns, moments of uncertainty, and real growth. Instead of overthinking every step, I feel called to move forward with courage. To take action, trust the process, and learn as I go, with Him guiding every step.

2025 was the year we dreamed boldly, set our goals, and began chasing them.

2026 will be the year we work relentlessly to bring them to life.

With that clarity in place, things began to move.

In June, Rally Higher became more than an idea. It became a name, a vision, and a commitment. Over the summer, we dove deep into research. In September, the formulation for Rally Higher Glucose Melts was born. October brought at-home prototyping and the search for the right manufacturing partner. And in November, that partner was found, the first sample arrived, and something that once lived only in my head finally existed in my hands. 

Around that same time, Ajax came home. 

Training Ajax alongside building Rally Higher has been one of the most grounding and meaningful parts of this year. Both journeys have required patience, consistency, and a willingness to take things one step at a time. It’s forced me to stay present, to focus on today’s progress instead of rushing the outcome.

Watching Ajax learn, grow, and begin to understand his role has mirrored the way this company has taken shape. Both started as ideas that felt overwhelming when viewed all at once, but became manageable when broken down day by day. This year pushed me far outside my comfort zone, but it also taught me how much can happen when you show up consistently, work hard, and trust the process, even without having every answer.

While I’m doing everything in my power to move this mission forward, I’ve learned there’s only so much I can control. God is the backbone of this company. He’s carrying the parts I can’t, opening doors I never could have planned, and reminding me daily we’re not on this journey alone.

One of the greatest gifts of this year is the community that has formed around Rally Higher. Growing up with a mom who has type 1 diabetes, we’re always searching for better tools, safer solutions, and ways to make everyday life just a little easier. What I’ve learned this year is that this instinct is shared by so many: parents, partners, friends, caregivers, and people living with diabetes themselves. Rally Higher exists to help this community support one another.

There is something incredibly powerful about people showing up for each other. The messages, conversations, encouragement, and shared stories have shaped Rally Higher in ways I never could have designed on my own. This company exists because of the people who care deeply, who want better, and who believe that when we come together, real change is possible. 

That’s what it means to Rally. 

And that’s how we Rally Higher. 

This year was just the beginning of something much bigger than I ever imagined. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude: for the growth, the challenges, the lessons, the faith, and most importantly, the people who have walked alongside us through it all. 

I can’t wait to see what 2026 holds. I’m deeply grateful for everything 2025 gave us, and I know the best is yet to come.
